Wedding preparations (Trial make up and gown selection)

Just a few days before the pre-wedding photo-shoot, we have to meet up with the make-up artist (MUA) to communicate our make-up and hairstyle preferences, do a simple trial make up and back to the bridal studio to select my gowns for the indoor and outdoor photoshoot.

I didn't know that we are not allowed to bring out the main bridal gown for outdoor photo-taking and another gown needs to be selected! I thought everything that was chosen on the first fitting, will be used for both indoor and outdoor photo-taking.

Well, it might be a good news since I'm allowed to make more gown selections. In fact, I've enjoyed this fitting than the 1st fitting as more choices are available.

(I love this gown, easier to wear, light and pretty)

1st try and I'm in love with this gown
(Only for indoor photo-taking as I can't have it the main bridal gown since it's black)

The flowers on the dress are so lovely

After confirming the indoor gowns, I'm needed to choose another 3 for outdoor photo-taking. Tried on a few but didn't really liked it so fiancé asked if they have anything in yellow to fit the color of his shirt. So glad that they have one, and it's nice! Decided on this piece without having 2nd thoughts.

We need a formal bridal gown and didn't fancy any. Took this upon recommendation and it was the best choice among all the others. Besides, I don't think anyone will notice what kind of gown are you wearing eventually!

Tried this for fun as I always thought models always looked good with such bridal dresses. However, I have enough gowns and thought that I can just reserve this for tea ceremony etc.

Once I'm done, it's finally his turn! Don't be surprised by the bored look that he is showing below as there is nothing much that a guy can try on. Besides getting the right size, it's only about choosing colors and the type of suit cutting that fits him best.

Wearing white to compliment my white bridal gown.

Grey for my blue evening gown perhaps?

And also, a black suit that we have. Brainstorming is needed soon, before the photo-shoot to decide on what suit needs to match which shirt, along with which of my gown! Seems like a difficult task, we tried to do it on the spot but faced some difficulties. Pen and papers please...

I like Regine's work, she whipped up this make-up on my face within a short span of time!

Looking forward to the make up session on the photo-shoot day!
