We were pretty satisfied with Adrian too, the freelance photographer for Jazz Bridal. We didn't communicate a a lot before the photo-shoot besides sharing with him on the props that we had, the whole environment was comfortable with Adrian being the photographer, more laugh points then embarrassment.
1st destination - Preserved train track site. It was very difficult to walk with my heels and despite the burning sun shining on us, we are not allowed to frown! Whew... but am happy with the photos!
It was through pure coincidence that we managed to get the yellow gown for our outdoor photo-shoot. Tried on many outdoor gowns as we are not allowed to bring the indoor gowns out to prevent it from being spoilt, but nothing seems suitable.
Luckily Liang asked if there is anything yellow to match his shirt! Ta-da, this gown fits perfectly and is so pretty! Most importantly, it's easy to wear and light!
2nd destination - Lorong Halus bridge. Weather was a bit cranky today! Just as we were perspiring non-stop beforehand, it started to drizzle when we reached punggol. Adrian made use of the rainy weather and managed to get the 'winter' and 'cold' feel.
Rain stopped soon after and my gown was already semi wet. We were both in white and took chances to sit on the bridge (ignoring the wetness and chance of dirtying Liang's white shirt and pants)!
Loves the sunflower photo effect, and the I'm flying post is not easy! Without the support of the sunflower stem, i don't think i'l be able to 'fly' as high... -.-'
3rd destination - Punngol waterway, where Bingcai and Lijun is waiting for us, with 100 balloons. However, it started to drizzle again and we braved through the rain and took some quick photos before the sunset is gone! The balloons were sagging due to the rain :( and we couldn't get the effect we wanted as wind were coming from all directions.
The dome could not be tied with the ideal 'flying in 1 direction balloons' scene. We had no choice but to put all the balloons together in the mist of the getting heavy rain. Very reluctantly, we released all the balloons to get the below effect! We made a wish and let the balloons fly high (ouch, $$$)! This photo is very expensive ar... haha!
I can't even try to jump as my dress was already very wet by then, too HEAVY! But I'm glad my make up is still intact at the end of the day! I didn't even have time to touch up, nope, not even lip gloss. Ku-dos to Regine!
Thank you Yiting, Francine, Bingcai and Lijun for making themselves free on the photo-taking day and helping us to collect the different batches of balloons and running errands.
Thank you for helping out with my dress and changing of gowns! I couldn't tie the gown on my own for sure!
Thank you for shielding me with umbrella and also, shielding the photographer with umbrella while he take his photos of us!
Thank you for worrying on behalf that rain is coming and the balloons are no longer floating as strong as it is due to the long hours in sun and then with the rain!
Thank you for being around on one of the most memorable day in my life :)
