Wedding preparations (Pre-wedding photo-shoot)

This day has finally arrived and after all the preparations that we have done, it will finally come to use today! The wedding band, props, list of outdoor photo-taking venues, balloons and etc were all prepared and packed on the day before. And our friends who were booked weeks ago were confirmed and activated for our 'weee-o-weee' day.

Woke up early in the morning, took dad's car and headed to Tanjong Pajar before the peak hour congestion. Reached slightly early and rested a while in the car before getting off to start the busy day!

Some of the props that we are using today includes:

the impromptu purchase of the lovely earrings
(I got them only 1 day before at Compass Point)

Movie ticket posters that we've designed

Huge sunflower

It's time to get pretty and handsome :)

While Liang's doing his make-up, it's my self-potrait time!

Back on table for my hairdo, for the first white bridal gown!

2nd hair-do for the black bridal gown...

Last hair-do to last me for the whole day out for outdoor photo-shoot

Regine's my make-up artist!

Then, we are ready to go!

Another venue that requires balloons was the jewel bridge at Punngol Waterway! Thank you Bing Cai and Lijun for collecting the 100 balloons on our behalf and also, getting to the place earlier to decorate the bridge. Although it was raining and most of the balloons can't float, your effort is appreciated! I'm sure you 'gan cheong' for us when the rain came and the sun start to set.

Thank you Berry for keeping my gown safe
It was raining and the balloons were affected as most were flying in all sorts of direction and some were semi deflated. The balloons didn't float straight as we expected but we still managed to take some nice pictures with it. The last resort was to take all the almost delated balloons together and took photos of it! My gown was drenched and heavy as you can tell from the photo; I can't even jump with it!

We let go of all the balloons just for 1 photo! Expensive!!!
After a long out, everyone was famished! Went for a feast at Hong Kong cafe after we returned all the gowns and accessories to the bridal shop.

Thank you Yiting and Francine for taking time out to help me collect the balloons for photo-taking at the railway track! Time would be very tight for us if you wasn't collecting the balloons on our behalf! Also, thanks for learning and applying the 'tie shoelace' method while I changed for the 2nd outdoor gown. I wouldn't be able to change into another gown without your presence!

Thank you girls
Photo-taking wasn't as tiring as many have said. It was a rather fun and eventful day for us as we have experienced the hot sun, rain and night chill. I'm thankful to have the help of our friends, who has made the day and planning easier. Everything went along with what was being planned. Not forgetting the wonderful help of our MUA and photographer!

Random:

This is the longest and heaviest fake eyelashes that I have ever wore!

Sneak peak, this is the only photo that they managed to shoot as they are not allowed to take pictures of us. Sobs.
