Honeymoon: Sydney (Day 7)

Honeymoon: Sydney (30 September - 7 October)

We're heading to the weekend market and see if we can make our way to Bondi Beach along the way. Crossed over a few roads and reached the central railway station and we wanted to take bus 555 (Free shuttle to CBD) and asked around for a few directions before reaching the bus stop. Whew~

I can't decide which was nicer, everything were fresh and tasty.
We were checking around on where and how to get a bus ticket in order to take a bus to Bondi Beach and finally saw this transit shop! As buses does not accept payment of cash onboard, we had so much difficulty looking for a place that shows us the information! Read the information, understood the map and get a bus ticket at long last! We took on bus 333 to Bondi Beach and reached before we had enough sleep on the bus!

It was very very very cold till we have to look for a shelter and hide! There were still a lot of people doing wake-boarding despite the super cold weather and walking to and fro the carpark and beach top naked! I am already wearing a jacket and shawl, yet hiding in a shelter and admiring the beach form a distance. Ha-ha. As it was too cold, we decided not to walk to the beach.

Took a break and had a yummy cake before leaving Bondi Beach. Nothing much to do if you are not planning to go the beach as the shops nearby were all selling beach related products and we finished the stretch of streets in a while. Hence, took a little break before we head back to town.

When you have nothing to do, you take random photos~

Went back to Darling Harbour for a good dinner before bid goodbye to the last night at Sydney. Got a harbour side restaurant so that we can wait the fireworks after dinner while chilling out! The night got colder when the sun sets, yet we see many girls wearing mini skirt and tube top. I wondered how can they resist the coldness!!! Furthermore, it started to rain while we're having dinner. Brrrrrr...

Fireworks are always meant to be enjoyed at the instant. It was magnificient and lighted up the whole harbor. Imagine they have this every weekends! If I'm staying at Sydney, I'm sure this will be my favorite place to hangout and I do not have to wait till National Day to be able to watch fireworks!

They must have spent a lot in a year on this fireworks show but it was really successful. The crowd was very good and the whole harbor was filled with people despite the ultra cold weather (for me at least) and the rain! I can't imagine the number of tourist it has brought in for the restaurants etc as everyone was queuing and I bet, many would want a seat with good view. We did, we had a table with no blockage and had a perfect view of the fireworks!

Check out the official fireworks video here and the website if you need more information!

Too many activities happening on the same day, we chanced upon a live concert on our way back in the park! Everyone was happily dancing their night away~

More playtime before ending our last night ~

Reached the hotel and saw this notice! We were so confused as we are flying home tomorrow morning. So do we have to check in an hour earlier? Do we have to adjust our watches and does it mean we have an hour lesser to sleep in?  Will we depart Sydney and arrive Singapore as per our flight itinerary?
