Honeymoon: Sydney (30 September - 7 October)
早起的鸟儿有虫吃! We pulled each other out of bed early in the morning at 6.30am (Earlier then going to school) and got ready for our adventure! Bought a 2 days tour pass for sight-seeing along with our flight and hotel package at $88 per pax and it was a 'buy 1 day, get 1 day free promotion'.
Off we go, ready for a nap till we reach the 1st destination.
Reptiles = Lizards???
Definitely not my favorite!!! o.O'
Ok, you will never see me touching a lizard like 'friend'. Regardless of their size and species, they just looked so creepy to me!
Unlike such cute animal that are furry and soft (even though they might bite or scratch you, they look kind).
I finally get to see KOALA!
Very old tortoise but I can't remember how old. 100 I guess? It doesn't move at all and looks like a |
Kangaroo that's overfed (refusing to eat) and the feed for them, is like my typical cereal breakfast!
The crocodile kingdom!
and lying below its feet are real crocodiles!!! eeeek!
I stared at this glass panel for very long and was searching hard for the pet in it. Couldn't find and almost gave up thinking that the pet must be 'out of its house'. Continued looking around for a while and there it goes, totally being camouflaged! It's like playing 'spot the different' puzzle, can you see???
=,=
I do not really like what I am posting below, how can anyone be so interest in reptiles and differentiated so many kinds of these creepy 'lizards'.
Seriously! What does this looks like to you? |
Why so fierce? |
I wonder where this creepy creature is trying to sneak to (Imagine with the pink panter music).
When they are bored, they 'creep' on each other.
We're out of the reptile world at long last
* hair-standing*
Photographer of the day! |
Time for lunch before we set sail to catch the Dolphins!!!
We couldn't finish the fries as it was either too much or we are not used to thick fries and have it as the main carbohydrate of the meal. Fish was yummy and fresh, but it's not like a 'I'll love to have another piece'. It's a good to have, and nice to try dish. Oh, on a side note, the calamari is nice, soft and chewy!
It's Dolphins' watching time!
As everyone waited for some time, everybody was 'thereeeeee-ing' when they spot something out in the big blue sea. After zoom x many times with the camera, it was actually some parachuting from far.
Here comes the real dolphins after many false alarm by the crowd. It's quite amazing how the dolphins can be stayed in this 'expected to appear zone' (won't they swim out and get far away?).
Weather was very cold today and I give my applause to the kids and father who were all prepared with swimsuits since we boarded. The girl was actually trembling but remained in the water. I'll never do that, it's too freaking cold! Everyone was watching them as they swim around in the net.
All we did was to walk around and take photo, ha-ha!
Hopped onto the bus again for our next destination and ta-da, here we are!
Time for some fun!!!
What's with the sun, sand and board???
The sand is so comfortable!!! It's cold despite the bright sun shinning onto it~
It's very tiring and difficult to climb up the sandhill as it was very soft and we will sink in with every step we made. I was already panting when i reached the top!
All the climb just for 1 play!
As we got more daring after the first try, we walked to the highest point to slide down. It's still scary, and I was thinking if I might just flip sideways and roll down half way down the hill. Imagine you are sliding down with a board that is so slim, and there's nothing to hold besides sliding your hands against the sand? Ok, I'm just scaring myself. I managed to slide down without falling off~
So high that I need to run so far back just to capture this scene!
Mission accomplished!
Yeah
As you aged, you do things less randomly and it has been awhile since we took on a new 'adventure'.
At a dessert, you bound to see camels!
This marks the end of the day tour, and we're heading home!
Marketing is a must to replenish our drinks in the hotel and I always wonder why are the items that we see at overseas supermarket more interesting than ours? Sigh~
After some shopping, we saw an entertainment center while making our way around to look for dinner. The games that they have, the machines, are way bigger then what we have in Singapore -.-'.
Monopoly |
Even this is so much BIGGER!! |
As it was too late, we couldn't find any decent dinner and end up having KFC beside our hotel. I liked the whipped potato sauce dip! Why can't we have this in Singapore...
Yawns, we had a long day! Good night...
