Spot us! Of course, we didn't watch The Lego Movie.
The last stay-cation we had was before Ada was born at W Hotel! How time flies~
Surprise!!!
Managed to spot where is this place? Everything looks so exquisite as I walked my way in.
Lights settings were quite tricky as I can never get the right lightings for Ada! But I love their automated curtains, the day-night blind works perfectly well! You can't tell that it's bright and sunny out there once the blind is down. Came into great use when Ada is taking her nap.
Washroom was huge.
No, this is not a mirror reflection. There are 2 wash basin in the bathroom.
Expensive... expensive fittings and very well maintained.
On the 2nd day, i found out that all the mirrors in the bathroom were insulated with heater behind. Hence, there was never a case of condensation and a need to wipe the mirror after bath! I realised it when I was bathing and kept thinking why is the mirror not affected by my splashing.
COLGATE!!!!
Favourite brand. I've never liked those in house toothpaste! Toothbrush was also of good quality, definately won W Hotel in this aspect!
Went down for another surprise massage shortly! Massage place - Remede was awesome but massage was of average rating. The whole ambience was more memorable than the massage itself. After I finished the massage, I found out that the hotel was actually using the Spa's brand for its toiletries and has a soap bar for facial wash. What we usually get is hand soap bar, never for face.
Even lockers are so pretty.
Simply toiletries for customers after their spa to tidy up.
Lounge while waiting for the masseur to bring me to the room.
Surprise came again after I was kept waiting for awhile after the massage. Another birthday cake delivered by the manager, and this wasn't being requested by Liang. He only put a note that this massage was a birthday gift. They took on the initiative to prepare the cake, wine, chocolates and invited him down with a birthday song :)
It's a fruit cake with pretty icing on top.
I never liked icing, but this was good. It wasn't sweet at all.
Chair in the lift.
Our room, right in front of the lift and it wasn't noisy at all.
The hotel's suite room! Must be damn nice I think. Too expensive, peek-a-boo is good enough.
Fetched Ada at night and luckily she wasn't fussy over sleeping at new place.
She slept well through the night!
Obviously, this daddy has no qualms over sleeping at a new place also.
Happily watching kids program like she's having a vacation!
Totally a TV addict.
No mummy, I'm not any TV addict like you said. I stopped watching!
Morning swim plus shower time!
Enjoying her little swim while watching TV, again.
It's time to take a break after a swim! Munching on Sophie.
Had lunch at wheelock and made use of the sakae member's card to fully utilize the birthday benefits.
Head down to Takashimaya since it was the member's weekend! Didn't spend a lot, only got a smaller tumbler for Ada as the one we have right now is too big and heavy. Doesn't make too much sense to carry the heavy one out for a short outing.
Totally happy and look at her cheeks!
Milk powder did the job, not me!
Ada is now at the feet eating stage, was waiting for her to learn how to pick up her feet and bite previously. She finally mastered the skill of biting feet when she was about 5 months old.
Sis came with family and brought pack crab beehoon for dinner! Yums. I actually did not take a single photo of the crabs. Oh craps!
TTT enjoying a dip in the bathtub.
Kept saying want to swim!. In fact, they meant to swim in the bath tub. Oh so cute and lucky the bathtub is big enough for 3 of them to stand and splash water at each other.
It's day 3 and check out time! Last selfies before stay-cation ends 'just like that'.
Curry rice for the 1st time since there was no queue at the Japanese restaurant at Plaza Singapura. Can't remember why we ended up at Plaza Singapura again when we just went there few days ago! -.-
Last selfies at the end of the holiday!
Thank you lg for the surprises and the well planned stay-cation. Finally have some quality time spent together over the weekend! Had a great birthday celebration and loving both the daddy and daughter.
