1 Year-old Birthday Party

Everyone was looking forward for the party to celebrate Tiden's turning 1! Sis started planning months before as she has to look for a venue for the gathering and of course, on the invitation list.

Nothing much can be done unless a theme has been decided and we brainstormed a few themes that best fit xxd such as safari, animal and the usual cars, Disney or Baby theme. Took a while before we decide on a theme that we felt best fits our love, the Orange M&Ms!

This picture reminds us of XXD due to his frowny brows, that comes just off so naturally everytime without fail! With a theme in mind, Sis started looking around for ideas for his birthday cake and we worked out that it should look something like this. Few quotations were being sent out for the cake and Sis finally settled down on one, and seriously, we can't wait to see the end product!

Kudos to Eunice and her friend, Sis managed to get a chalet at Changi treehouse. Invites were sent flying out soon after we got to know of the good news and the exact address of the chalet. Most invites were distributed electronically through whatsapp and hence, I converted the invite to a jpeg file so that invite can be done easier, and much more convenient.

Everything seems to be in place with the date nearing, except for the surprise haze issue. Baby Tiden started falling sick 1-2 days before and got us so worried! Praying for him to get well and for the haze to go away were our daily prayers so that party could continue without any change!

Indeed, prayers went through and baby Tiden was feeling better on his actual birthday and all ready for the next day party!
